Hi Guys
I have the new beta ready of the Manytone mapper.
This tool is for mapping your own Soundsets for all Wusik, Manytone and Dash products that load either the Dashsnd or Wusiksnd files.

This new version adds support for Dashsnd and now allows you to open existing soundsets in either format and remap or even Blend the sets and create new sets etc.

Also there is more tools to help in the creation of your soundsets.

I think this new version is stable but i would like a few guys that would like to test it to drop me an email. You must already own it to take part here.

We also are going to make the Mapper available for sale to anyone. (Currently it only comes with a Manytone purchase)
It will only be a few dollars and this will allow anyone to have a great tool to map sounds for Dash and Wusik etc.

Current Customers will receive the Update to this new Version for free once we release it officially. Providing this last beta test goes well, then it should be in a few days or there abouts.

So email me if you are excited to try the new features before we release.

Hey Guys
Thanks for the feedback so far. We have some ideas for a few changes that may make it in before official release.

I'll bump this again incase anybody missed it.
Email me if you want to try the new mapper out and you are an existing customer.

Anyone who has it already, please shoot me some feedback over the next days if you get a chance.

Paul,

It crashes every time I try to run it. The older one worked fine - now I cannot make any sample sets at all. HELP!!!

My system is a AMD 64 3000+ 2.4ghz - 1GB ram ddr - 1.6TB HD (RAID) - ATI Radeon 9600XT - EMU 1820M - Windows XP Home with SP2 - Tascam FW-1082 Mixer / Controller - Technics KN7000 USB master midi keyboard

Hi Karma
You are the first to report anything like this
I am running it here on a Radeon 9600 on Win XP on an AMD processor., so this is almost the same as you.

Did you put it in its own folder ...not overtop of the old folder?

Other than that i am completely lost as to why at this moment as you are the first to report this.

We will see what we can find.
Perhaps see if you can try some other methods as i am lost at this moment as to why we have nearly same specs and you have trouble yet it runs fine here and on a few other systems we have tested on.
Lets see if anyone else has trouble.
Your old version should still work.

Anybody else want to try it?

What kind of crash is it, just a 'standard' Windows application crash?

Runs fine (altho i haven't tried to convert anything yet, no time) on my athlon xp, 9600se, xp pro sp1a - does xp home have the Event Viewer app? Maybe it's written something to the event log? (will it?) What does the crash message say? What else is running?

Runs fine here, but I haven't really gotten to play with it too much (university keeps me busy :/)
A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Believe it or not, I tried to run it again and this time it worked fine - it HAD to be my system acting funky.

Weird!!!!

I don't see where the load wusiksnd button is. It essentially looks the same except for a blue border on top and a nicer Manytone logo.

I will keep using it though - as I need to continue with my work.

Hi Mike
There is a Big Button on the bottom that says "Import"
You press that and the option comes up to load a wusik or a dash soundset.
Don't you see that? The Soundsets need to be in the mappers folder.

No import button - Just the same buttons as the previous version. I do have samples in the manytine folder and they show up on the left as usual. Next to that on the bottom is the add samples (too bad that button does not work as a load sample button), delete samples, Root autofinder and Autorange. To the right is the load and save project buttons, convert and quit. That's it. There's nothing else. It does, however, look different than the last version so I know I updated it with something. Did I perhaps receive the wrong verison?
