Oh yeah,

I never knew the logic "bounce start" problem was due to the buffer not being flushed on bounce start. While it doesn't help matters much at least the bug makes sense now.

Post

So you still have to add some pre-roll to bounces in Logic? That's the old PC version only, right?

yeah ignore us old warhorses telling our tales sitting on the rocking chair on porch on a sunny sunday afternoon.

Depends on the plugins, really.
When using Logic-only ones, it's not an issue at all. With several 3rd party ones it is. NI stuff seems to be especially sensible. Has got something to do with note-offs (or better: all sorts of reset messages) not being properly sent to 3rd party stuff if you rewind and didn't let things run through (until the note off that is) before.
Funnily enough, a lot of those problems are fixed by eXT. Not all of them though.
Even more funny (or less, if you are a Logic user): It worked better in older versions.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Doesn't surprised we with NI; there's something 'heavy' about their plugins.

Ooooh, don't you hate that? Kontakt slowly got less stable in Cubase with each update. :x

Yes, and that something rhymes with 'boat'.

With the current trend of development, sooner or later it'll be added.

Well, I'm mainly using K1.5, even if I could use K2 as well.
Just imagine, still impossible to set up independent pitch bend values for up/down in K2. Not working all that great in K1.x either, but at least not completely disfunctional.
Gotta love product updates.

On a sidenote: Perhaps some developers should read this thread. There's a lot of user wishes to be found, described in quite a condensed and reasonable manner.

I'm still with K 1.5 too. I don't find K2 particularily stable or easier to use. I would kill to be able to go back to 1.2.1, but that's mostly impossible.

Yeah, you coul probably build the perfect sequencer from this thread!

The splash screen of the mac version will display this:

When you try to install another sequencer alongside it, it'll nag you with

How quaint :hihi: I stick width SX cause it cause money don't grow on trees where i live.
The fanboy colours you try to paint me don't quite stick on me.
if you wanted to see someone bitching about SX you would have see me when 3.1.933 was released, it rendered quite unusable on my system, it was a damn crash party, i only stop the yelling when 944 was released.

however you can't acuse me of jumping on other sequencer threads and start moaning about things i barely use.

Still i think my host is bigger than everybody else's host :hihi: what can i do???
