:help:
I like the demo, now the problem is, what will I do when these reverbs cease working in 9 days or less?

Is it me or are they really that usefull, I mean with all those presets, and I am finding the sound is so much more "real", not embellished candy, but real;.... I am genuinely surprised and would never have guessed (without the demo)

Am I alone on this opinion?

the real problem for me is the price
Why is it so high?
I may after all have to pay for it....

For me, buying CSR meant I won't have to spend money on reverbs in a long time (if ever!) so I almost feel like I saved money  Seriously, it hurt to spend that much on "just" a reverb but god! it sounds so good that I really stopped looking for THE reverb so I really feel CSR was worth the price.

9 Days! My trial version only allowed 10 tries. I only installed it yesterday and it's done. Not enough demo time for me to form an opinion!

Yeah, CSR is amazing. I just love it. In fact,,, I really haven't seen ANYONE who's tried it, that didn't get smitten. I do think it's destined to be a "Classic"

I couldn't really tell.

That's odd, I thought it was 30 starts or 10 days... I've avoided trying the demo because I *know* I'll buy it if I do.

It's not really that high. $319 is the price of a budget hardware unit. A reverb as nice as CSR in hardware would cost thousands. Of course, that's the same with any of the software/hardware emulations but still... sometimes you have to pay a bit more to get really great gear in software OR hardware. My friend just picked up the Waves SSL effect bundle for his ProTools rig. You don't even want to KNOW what he paid! But, he likes that buss compressor. CSR is a high end effect plug-in but the cost is relatively good for what you get I think. It's within reach of most pro and semi pro musicians.

You know that if you own ANY IK product (that includes ST LE, AmpliTube LE/Live, TRackS EQ, Sonik Synth 2 etc.) that you qualify for a limited time ALL-GRADE promo running on CSR? It's only $219. MAP. Here: http://www.esoundz.com/details/viewDeta ... uctID=1343 Keep in mind that you can even go pick up the cheapest IK product you can find to qualify and STILL save money from the regular $319. MAP Hope that helps!

Mine started off at 25 trials, unknown days.

Nope. http://www.esoundz.com/details/viewDeta ... ew=reviews

Between CSR and Amplitube, I've been able to delete 50 or so freebie FX that have been clogging up my VSTi folder. There's no reason to compromise.

Actually, you can also make progress towards Gold or Platinum eSoundz membership, too. The Platinum members crossgrade price is irresistable.

I'm seriously blown away by CSR.

True, I got a substantially lower price quoted. But I did not prove I had ST2 XL
HOW DO I DO THIS?
Have not bought it YET but I am finding that the more I use it the more I think need it (?)
WILL THE QUOTE REMAIN LOW in 7 days?
Am I being fooled by myself? The sounds of all the pianos Ive tried so far using ST2XL come out so much nicer using a certain piano patch (env piano verb) with the HALL reverb, and sound more real...

A really good reverb has a way of adding a lot of a professional sounding blend to your tracks. Hard to describe but bottom line is that if you like what you are hearing then that should speak louder than words anyway.

Good news on the ALL-GRADES, UPGRADES and CROSSGRADES from IK. They are EASY to buy from any IK dealer that carries them. Easy because you don't have to show any proof of your qualifying product before you purchase. The IK registration system knows to give you the authorization for the ALL GRADE, Crossgrade or Upgrade if you are previously registered for the qualifying product. It's all database driven and automatic.

It's funny because some people complain about the challenge-response registration system but I keep trying to tell them that the minor pain in the butt it is to do pays off greater by the ease of the system automatically authorizing you for discounted upgrade/crossgrades.

Another question(ss):
I have the demo, will I be able to activate/register it online and not wait a week for some CD? i.e. is the download version the full version?

Can I (should I) go to the IK site to purchase CSR ( I found the quote at SR quite attractive anyway so maybe not?)
