Hi

I like using the Fingered/Bassics patch in UBK, but I would like to swap them round so that Bassics is to the left of Fingered on the keyboard.

What's the easiest way of doing this? I tried changing the zone values, but couldn't get it to work. :?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Alan
All you need to do is reverse the settings in the zone window for each soundset ...which i am sure you did.... But also take a look at the Tune setting Dial. It needs to be adjusted as well to put the soundset in the right place on the keyboard that you want. I think you will want -24 on Osc 1 (with a zone setting of 62 - 97) and +12 on the Osc 2 Tune dial (Zone setting of 21 - 61)

Give that a try ;-) Experiment if needed.

Hey Alan
I just uploaded a patch but as i am beta testing our new ver 2 engine ... this patch is for Ver2 Wusik engine only.
See if this saves you the work.
If you are on Ver1 still then this will not work for you and you will need to do what i said above.

I think that was what you are after.

Hi Paul

Thanks for your comments.

The drums are Jamstix (piccolo kit), Plugsound Free (electric piano), Organized Trio (organ), Sampletank SE (trumpets/saxes), and Manystation UBK (of course), with a touch of Amplitube.

The guitar was my trusty Antoria 345 played through V-Amp2.

I had Pmed Alan some comments and asked what the instruments all were, and i see he also replied here on the forum.

So i'll add:
Great playing! .. I thought the guitar sounded a bit Real ;-)

Bass sits great in the mix ... The whole works sits well together!
Another Fantastic track by you! Seems you are getting tighter and Smoother Production these days!
Cool to hear!

Groovin! Nice guitar solo and great playing. It's got a good texture overall.

Hey Alan
Dirk deserves his own thread ...no?
;-)
It's just such a good piece and i think it will get lost in this thread.

Anyways - Ninja bump for Alans Tune :-)

EDIT: I changed the title of the thread to better reflect the content, so no need to do anything Alan ;-)
