hi all , i m so new and almost virgin in sampling ... i have a metal band but with lots of problems we have for drums we are unable to record it , so we decided to record drums with sampling softwares ... i tried beatcraft sampling software with some samples from cakewalk project 5 , they r great samples but not enough , and if it helps i have an old soundblaster live ...
i m looking for these things :
a software that supports more that 230 bpm tempo , has realtime effects , and support tempo changes and changes in measures time signature easily ...
and looking for free samples for :
two crash cymbals ,
two ride cymbals ,
splash cymbal ,
chinese cymbal ,
closed and open hat ,
pedal hat ,
snare ,
high /hi mid /lo mid /low toms
low and high floor tom
bass drum
and any other piece of drums
thnx a lot ...

Try Stylus RMX by Spectrasonics. www.spectrasonics.net
Together with a standard sequencer like Sonar 5, you can vary the tempo with a tempo map.
As far as the sounds you mention - Stylus has EVERYTHING you will ever need to create grooves and drums and it has a simple drag and drop interface - it really is a snap to learn and it comes with hours and hours of video tutorials to get you up and running in no time. I was able to complete my first production using Stylus RMX and my guitarist in under 3 hours - and 2.5 hours was for recording the guitars.

If you have a drummer, he wants this, for $199, to record with:
http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?a_pro ... egory_id=8
I'd encourage you to take a look at the demo movie. Comes with lotsa sounds, including a cut-down version of DFH Superior, which is one of the best drum collecitons on the market.
Then, since you have the padKontrol, you qualify to get the full DFH Superior for $209 here: http://www.soundsonline.com/sophtml/det ... sku=TT103T
Take care,

hi and thnx fpr replies ,for some reasones its better for us to stick w softwares , for keeping over songs notes , first of all we write all tracks in guitar pro program , so if i find a sampling program that supports midi import , we ll not have any probplem ,
does sonar or stylus ( i don think i can find stylus here ) supports dynamic control for each note ???
