The azura skin just gives me the bog-standard default.
I'll redownload it later maybe.

If you buy orion platinum, are you permitted to use the instruments and effects in other hosts as well?

All the instruments and effects are built-in, not externally accessible. You can ReWire OPlat into something else and use it's internal generators and effects that way, though.grymmjack wrote:If you buy orion platinum, are you permitted to use the instruments and effects in other hosts as well?
As I recall, anyway.

More than one mixer? That must streamline your workflow enormously!?!spaceman wrote:and that screenshot was from the audio mixer, not the track mixer where you can filter channels by type with the click of a button
But you can't see their settings and compare. I assume you have to look at them one at a time to chase down problems. More uber-efficiency.the eq is on top btw, it's one of 9 possible eq, the channel eq being an 8 channel with comprehensive fft analyser built in.. but there's also the linear phase eq and a bunch more
Then it would be just like your musical output - zero.if you make shite music like yours than I'm surprised you need any effects at all, apart from maybe a global mute button
No, I left your quote in. You said you couldn't do something with pan, infering that two sliders was superior when it is, in fact, equally useful at best and often less useful [when the mix is balanced].yes, so in short, I was saying that two sliders makes sense. Thanks for agreeingspaceman wrote:although with a pan you can't, say, lower left by 20% and up right by 42%..it's always balanced

What a coincidence, I have a lesbian trapped in my basement. Well, locked in really. If only it would stop screaming, the neighbours are starting to ask questions.CypherOne wrote:I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body.

some people never use the audio mixer, some people rarely use the track mixer..BONES wrote:More than one mixer? it's a personal choice
I often see you reply "did you actually read my post.." and "do you actually understand.." but I have to ask the same now. You have 9 possible eq's to your displosal. In 90% of the time you just use the channel eq. You didn't think anyone uses 9 eq's at once, did you?But you can't see their settings and compare. I assume you have to look at them one at a time to chase down problems. More uber-efficiency.the eq is on top btw, it's one of 9 possible eq, the channel eq being an 8 channel with comprehensive fft analyser built in.. but there's also the linear phase eq and a bunch more
and you have a graphic representation of the eq on the top of the mixer channel

The topic moved to two sliders because of a post from someone. We were trying to figure out why two sliders could have some added value over just a pan. I wondered if my example might be the 'missing functionality'
you never really read posts carefully either, do you?
just switch into bitch mode and let it rip

well, geez, i get pretty pissed when things start to troll up... anyway, i realized not all music is for all people... I make music for the joy of it... but i can understand some people needing "a big label" to carry them... some artists stand alone (with small labels that don't restrict the sound at all) -- so, "metropolis" huh.... guess i'll check it out.... what do you think of young jeezy?spaceman wrote:and I'm signed to the worlds biggest polka smurf label 'Polkasmurf' and they don't sign any posers or wanabees eitherhitman8081 wrote:dover666 wrote:IE - LISTEN TO BONE'S MUSIC, I HEARD ONE TRACK IT WAS OKAY, THEN I HEARD HOCICO - COMPARE !! Hmmm... I was just messing around with Platinum, to check out that new skin (very nice) and I remembered some of the things that drove me nuts! Those darn windows that open small (playlist)... or the master that keeps opening below (and to the right) of the mixer strips? Now why wouldn't that (master) open on the same plane as the mixer strips?? And why wouldn't the Playlist open full screen, when an instrument does?? I think the instrument opening to full screen makes perfect sense, since that's what your focus is, right? Well when your working in the playlist, wouldn't that be the same??? These and other burnng questions used to get me run off at Orion forum, but hey, it still bugs me!! Am I the only one that thinks windows should remember their settings/location... per session at least??
O.K. my preference I guess, and were right back to those "suggestions" I used to make...
