An explanation is in order:

The link posted shows this guys program which takes videos, beat-slices them and then analyzes them spectrally somehow such that it responds to audio input by playing back whatever snippet of video and audio that it thinks matches the best.

Beatboxing the glitched video slices.

This is damned close to my favorite music invention yet.
Of course, I intend to use it for my playing my own songs live!!!

Absolutely genius.
I didn't think I could get much more obsessed with live control of audio via voice but now I'm not going to be able to sleep.

This really is as near to a must-see video as I've come across in months. I emailed them, inviting them to drop in here, I hope they do.

The video PTV posted is 30 megs, but is worth any patience required--their creation will inspire lust in many, many people here at KVR! :love: :love: :love: 8)

Looks interesting, but musically, i didnt hear anything of merit (subjective of course)

The fact that it keeps the mangled audio in beat is how it ties in musically. Of course, the usability is pretty limited to a few genres of music, of course. ;)
