Is there a demo version of Cubase SL I can download from somewhere? I look at Steinberg's site but couldn't see one anywhere obvious. If I'm missing an obvious link, please point it out to me!

AFAIK there are no demos for the cubase range.
Well, not legit ones anyway.

i remember when the sx1 demo was avail for download but times are changing and now i can't find any demo's at their site?? incredible customer support....

There are no demos for any Cubase product. I even wrote Steinberg and they said, for sure, no demos unless it comes with some other product. And it doesn't sound like they will ever change that.

Not sure how they're supposed to get new customers, apart from reputation alone. Not a great idea, IMHO.

Yep. What're you using? Live and Reason? You might find Cubase too rigid anyway!

Although I gotta say Cubase and Reason are very good together.

do what I do, call steinberg and let them tell you to see the demo at the music store...with completely different PC and hardware than mine...
