Another vote for an octaver and "Slow Gear" simulator; perhaps a leslie/rotary sim as well?

...damn, this stuff sounds REAL nice! Truly excellent work, Fretted Synth!

sure it is okFrettedSynth wrote:rsmus7 - I dont know if that would be possable in SE right now? will look more at it, as an alternative would being able to place the FX pre or post amp in a fixed order be OK?
I just expained one of my wishes.
as I had a BOSS GT6 for some years where I could do this.
But I can understand that it might be not possible in SE.
Anyway thanks for your efforts.

swell fx: the guitar pluck/peak triggers an envelope controlled swell, similar to what you can do with exp. pedal, but footless.FrettedSynth wrote:waiting man - a phase shifter is high on my list alsoJust not too happy with any I have built yet? will keep trying.
What do you mean by swell FX ? there is MIDI volume already, would it help to be able to limit its range?
For the pitch shifter I would prefer an octaver (still some to learn there also)The only one I have heard in a VST that I like so far is the one by Daniel (ddrummer)
Thanks for all the other repliesTo answer some of the other questions, Yes there might be plans to re-do the entire GUI (thanks Grymmjack) And now that I have cleaned things up inside FreeAmpSE adding new amps, speakers and distortions can be done quite easy
So it should grow fast.
And who said this plugin is so GarageI beg your pardon! although it was over thirty years ago, I have very fond memories of them garage tones
I guess it shows

Thanks

in a group of notes only the first really triggers the whole rise , while others will play at normal lvl. a good example is the old AcidTrip plug-in, there's a preset with this function.
I was suggesting an octaver too, but I like it more on bass than gtr.
also great to hear that will be easy for you to add new feats...
so, what about adding some bass cabs and making the whole hybrid?
have you tried using mild feedback chains in the phaser?
can't wait for news

Not much, just a RAT box (as good sounding as the HW one used on guitar solo in April Wine's "Just Between You And Me") and ofcourse a standalone version of the amp with an ability to load VST plugins.
BTW: There are not many software RAT effects available (iZotope Trash has couple not so good RAT type presets and also NI GR v.1.2 --> has a 'Cat' preset (based on below mentioned RAT) --> all what I've found so far). Some hardware versions can still be found like these 2 -

wow,i just had a look at freeamp.i'm no guitarist but i like the way you can position the mic.great idea.
the only thing i've been wishing for is 'mini' speaker/amp sim...as in the little built in speakers you get with casio/toy keyboards/the wasp had one too.
it's difficult to emulate the 'mic-ing up' of these things and the software versions just don't sound the same through studio monitors!
would it be faily easy to do something like that, based on freeamp?
cheers for the great plugins,anyway!

Ok!
It looks like I have a bit of learning and work to do
Not sure if it will all make it in v1.5 but there is always v1.6, v1.7, v1.8 ect
Top of the list so far, Phase shifter, Octaver and the swell effect which should not be too hard with what I have already done with the synths, Comp, gate and wah. Will see what I can find\learn of that boss pedal.
And BTW I do have a new synth ready which improves on the tracking of the Pitch, gate and velocity, now the filter cutoff can be controled with velocity.
Once I get a chance to give it a face and do a manual I will let it go, if it works out I will change the three existing synth to use this.
The Pignose and the ratt hmm! a buddy of mine has them I will take a look\hear.
The presets are being worked on I hope to catagorize them in this release and will spend a bit more time on there balance, and for the preset names SORRY! I'm a bass player so any of them could be a lead, rhythm, I guess I will have to ask for some help there
Also it has been asked if there is a speaker bypass? it is already there Hive-Green with the mic at the center possition it is the sound of the amp with no speaker (get it! the nasty bee hive tone of a preamp pluged direct to a board)
I really have to re-label some of this stuff and also drink less beer when I am labeling\naming things.
Peace

oh I would love some cerveza, now.
no intention of being harsh with the preset thing. I'm crap, but I'll try to make some, when the beast will be close enough to be smelled.

I really enjoy the FrettedSynth audio triggered synths (thank you VERY MUCH for those), but I have never been able to get Free Amp SE to work for some reason. I hope the new version will work for me!
Another vote for something like Slow Gear - actually I like the "Swell" effect on the original POD Pro set to do a reverse tape like effect, but Slow Gear is a lot like that isn't it?
