sometime 2005 - 2004 a standalone app was released in freebie v. (at least as beta) that was voluminously raved about as having the best timestretch to date..
i d/l'ed it somewhere but having never felt the need to use it, the name has escaped me.
i have a friend that does evp and could use a better quality algo..
anyone have a clue what i'm talking about? (...)

totally unrelated.. save me posting again in a couple months when i can get back to music.. any binaural encoder enthusiasts recommend one of the free effects with lowest cpu?
tia + forthcoming,

edit: DIRAC is it.. now if only i can find wtf i did with diri.zip.. :p
also photos of little spheres.. woman transduces thru camera.. what i see as 'points of light,' also common. spheres w/ camera are ~1-2" some with tails of motion.. also photos of blurs, mostly red.. lots from tombstone. nothing you couldn't do in photoshop.
why? there's probably loads on the net, and none of it would convince a skeptic.. "it's just someone's voice.." have snippets from tombstone, az (location of o.k. corral shootout, others) of "the gallows.." and "why me.." but what good would it do?rpc9943 wrote:can we ahve some links on some successful evp? thx

This is a good one, a command line version of the phase vocoder that's been around a while:

Worth checking out SNDAN and SPEAR, too.

Yes, dirac is pretty awesome. IMHO it beats anything, commercial or not.
Here is a quick comparison with a sample posted on soundtouch

really, i'll share, there's enough to go around.. can't eat a bite of food.
"if only you knew.." eh.
for the rest of you, that reads: if you ever want to bug the shit out of a clairaudient, get some young person addicted to shit thinking your target is the answer to all their problems then murder them when they're high/coming off.
