BR: LS - shift events after changing number of beats

i just found a bug (or perhaps it's a feature i don't agree with ;)) while working on a new track (finally i have time for making music again ;))
i created a nice 2 bars beat but want it to be the end of a 4 bar loop. so i tried to shift it after increasing arranger beats to have 2 bars in front where i can go on arranging. then i found the following:

- lock a loop to the arranger
- deactivate "lock to loop" again
- rightclick the number of beats to set it to 8
- now there's another empty bar at the end
- click >

you'll see that the loop gets shifted entirely 1 bar + a little more (mostly 1/8 ) to the right while the last slice gets moved to the first position. i would expect it to just shift the loop as long as there's space.

If I understand correctly, when you click > or < the slices move so that the next/last slice goes into the first filled slot.

AFAIK it's always been like this.

To resolve your issue I inserted a dummy (empty slice) then shifted them.

I would like to see a simple shift slices right or left by one Snap value, though.

HTH??

yep, that's why i meant "feature i don't agree with" ;)

tbh i think it's more intuitive the way i was thinking, because i really wondered about it when that happened.. and i think other users will as well.. i expected the last slice to go to position one just when it reaches the arrangers end.
