I own the original Sonic Synth and SampleTank 2XL.
Is there a way to get my Sonic Synth sounds running under SampleTank2's plugin?
Last time I tried this I was getting crashing/errors.

Sure. Just drag all of your Sonic Synth 1 sounds (including all of the files in the Sonic Synth Instrument folders- be sure it is .sti, .sth and .stw files) into the ST2Instruments folder. Then hit "relist" and they should show up and work. If you have any problems then contact IK tech support so they can go through it with you in more detail. squids - many thanks. I just tried installing the files off the installer disks and (since I've redone my setup for the umpteenth time and hand't installed SS1 yet) the installer just picked up the ST2 directory and it worked.
thanks for the super-quick reply. I have a ton of new soundware to try, but I did check out the upgrade offer on SS2 and it is tempting.

Do it. SS2 is so far above SS1. Very cool.
