Hey,

I have been using Live 5's inbuilt reverb for quite some time non, and I thought it might be worth looking for a vst alternative. However, I need some tips on which reverbs to try out.

Am thinking about the WizooVerb, and the AA...
Cheers!

ambience and arts acoustic jump into my mind.

You probably have some of the best there. Masterverb is another option, probably some Waves products, Princeton has a few good ones. And you might want to take a look at convolution engines like Pristine Space, SIR and Convo Boy.

I'm more looking for a smooth sparkly sound.

You can get "warm and crisp" and "smooth sparkly" in one reverb - get a high end Lexicon unit. Downside is the price, of course.

You could also get a little lower than a high end Lexicon.
You would never be disappointed in a Kurzweil Rumour.

Oho, the ambience reverb is great, and free too. Arts Acoustic Sounds good too, a bit pricey but I guess it's worth every penny. Will settle for the ambience reverb for now. Also found another one called SIR on a swedish studio-site yesterday.
