IMO Voting was easy this month
1. QueryString - Get the message
2. The Tots - Enfantry (extra points for using the same baby samples as me from last month)
3. The Guru - Deserts rise
4. Heck - The Golden Age (for getting the acoustic sound and the slide guitar sound just right- and the reverb spot on)
5. Moody Dudes - Nights in Black Cotton (this gets my Ed Wood award for the so bad I have to keep listening to remind myself)
6. SmallTalk - My Young Love (piccolo was perfect- a real harp and real strings would have made this track superb. Inspired.)
7. Arvo -Hellish Heaven (nice melancholic melody and lowfi mellotron piano sound. With synthetic strings such as those a lot of room reverb would be preferred to cover the harsh GM sound)
8. Lancelot String- Tumble (good ballsy sound although the timing is off in places)
9. Dick Melville- porky lane (odd song here. Euphoric atmosphere unfortunately impaired by the cicada sounding drums)
10. Victory Rose - Islenskur ( I really dig the vocals here- but for Christ sake son use a metronome)

Many thanks to everyone for sharing music. More than ten entries deserved votes this month, but here goes my ten (as always, the votes tell you much more about the voter than about the artists):
1) Zz if for Zzero: Leaving the Motherland: Wonderfully off-the-wall and melodic, with many inspired sounds.
2) Bad Nutrition: Left: This song made me very nostalgic for my youth. 80s synth pop lives! Were you a founding member of Yaz by any chance?
3) The Whiners: Poem: Noisy and in your face. This song has a bad attitude.
4) Slodberg: Moving to Venus: If the lead singer for Yello joined the Flaming Lips, this is what it might sound like. Good melody, great synth sounds--this track keeps the listener off-balance and uncomfortable.
5) Meatfist23: Screaming Chicken: Heavy riffing, screaming chicken--what's not to like? To make this track even better, you might have added an umlaut over the "a" in Meatfist.
6) Lococolada: Masquertina: The opening and closing sections are magnificent--great rhythms, great sounds. The middle section was a bit too disconnected from the rest of the track for my taste, but the rest was super.
7) Vince's Friend: Pista de Audio: Lovely playing, great melody. The handclaps seemed a bit too intrusive and distracting in my opinion, but still it is a fine piece of work.
8 ) Furr: Keep Me Posted: There were a number of good guitar-solo tracks in this month's contest, but I'll give a slight edge to this entry. The drums sounded a little stiff/looped to me, but the guitar playing was great.
9) Miss Me: Flower Power: I enjoyed this song's dark vibe and unexpected twists and turns.
10) Smithee & Co.: Insects' World: This is a genre of music that does not appeal to me at all, but this particular piece is so well constructed and performed that I had to give it a vote.
