Hi,

Due to the stressful events taking place in the voting thread, I need to do something else than wait for Sunday

so, I thought I'd try to get some feedback on the "mono" version colours before I start exporting the bitmaps:

I realised that I don't actually have any idea how to do a "mono" colour scheme, and I'm working on a laptop TFT atm so your input is pretty important to get it right!

(also any comments on the standard colour version posted at Asseca's, 0.92, are extremely welcome... I'd like to get this skin finished and start something new)

this scheme is nice on eye, maybe some icons are a bit too "glassy" to my taste but it's pretty nice.

Looks good pakana,
I was expecting a mono version based off the lighter colors in the pallet, with dark contrasts, but this is interesting too.

Well i don't understand the term Mono because that is not a Mono skin ? , A Mono skin would be all different shades of a single color.

Now having said that, Bloody nice skin my man, Great work, Like somebody else said the glassyness of the icons is a little too much for me but i use screengrabs of any particular skin i use and replace the icons with them anyway, So it wouldn't affect me.
Looking forward to a go on this

Monochromatic:

Slightly more interesting(potentially) is tritone:

To mess with it, in photoshop, load a screenshot of your skin, convert to greyscale, afterwards, under 'mode', select 'duo tone', then tweak/add colors to taste.

*I kinda like the monochromatic one above..

Yea NAS I confessed that I can't make a proper mono skin...

it feels... impossible! (that png is just an export from my gfx program btw, no floating transport bars in eXT)

So muted, low-contrast and fewer colours is probably as mono as I go atm.

soma I'll make a light version, too.
