We all know that the Jupiter 8 had a real silky filter. Is there any vst filter plugin that can add a little "silkiness" to my DCO synth to take out some of the harshness when it is opened up.
Thanks for the help in advance.

If your filters are harsh, there usually isn't good cure. A good eq might hide some of it, but harshness is often time based artifacts rather than frequency based. Some phase smearing (analog gear or convolution) might help. Voxengo Analog Flux Suit has some good tools, including TapeBus which can help. And a rightious Analog chorus that is often sorely need for Roland-ish synth clones.

What do you mean by phase smearing?
