Well yes - its another standard in the same way as another compressor or delay unit would be but so what? The point is this is DSP powered, zero latency, and if it has the same attention to detail of Creamware's other analog modelled products it could be really good (good prices too). As a guitar playing Creamware owner I'm pretty excited about these (might save me forking out for a Toneport)bmanic wrote:A guitar amp modeler.. how original.![]()

To deal with that crappy company, let me tell you. I had way TOO MANY bad experiences with them. Including a bastard who insulted me on the phone. They can f**k themselves.aMUSEd wrote:What hassle?

Well whatever.
The website has more info on it now - to me these look very good - maybe finally a replacement for Simulanalog stuff.

It is very good but something DSP powered and with proper gui's but with anything like the accuracy of the models or better - that would be cool.

Seems the technology behind the emulations has been licensed from www.softube.se . There are some A/B comparisons with the real thing at the Softube website.
Interestingly, they've also developed a digital feedback simulation - the .wav demo sounds pretty convincing (at least to my non-guitarist ears).

The audio demos don't sound like much, I agree. But none of this nature have ever done so, including simulanalog.
The softube stuff sounds very convincing however.
As a guitarist who owns two Pulsar II cards, I am very interested in this package. If only for reamping later on through the real thing.
