Question: Is this an effect? (signal modifier).
It appears in Ableton Live as an instrument (vsti) i.e. it can't be inserted into an audio channel, it has to be inserted into a midi channel as an instrument & then have audio routed to it.

edit: sounds pretty spunky once it's there though :D

Sorry, one question: Where is the plugin after installing? The GUI is completely different from the shown above. Only very small colored fields with sliders.

Yes it is an effect.. hmm, weird, haven't tested in Live, will go back in and have a look at my vst settings.

sounds like you've installed Hosebeast instead ??? that's a small horizontal rectangle with pastel colours and horizontal sliders...

The arcDev.Cycloton.X2.v1.0.dll will be in {Plugin dir you chose for install}\arcDev Noise Industries\arcDev Cyclotron X2\

btw, there's an extra .fxb of really screwed up glitchy presets in the install dir (above)
(forgot to mention it in the documentation, it's called CYX2 Random.fxb)
