I recieved the Linplug email newsletter and inside it says:

"You can be among the first to see Albino 3 in action at the Frankfurt Musikmesse prior to its official release. Rob Papen himself will present the instrument at the Best Service booth."

Anyone at Musikmesse or seen any reports of this on another website? Screenshots?

..yes, I saw it. There aren't any infos available on Linplug's site, so I don't know what I may tell - but I can tell you it *LOOKS* like bLUE - except for it's red... :P

Probably an upgrade fee from v.2 to v.3.

In reguard to Vanguard vs Albino, they're two different synths. I use Vanguard more for it's "trance" sounds. Albino for it's "smooth"/"warm" sexy pad sounds. :)

It really depends on what you use it for. Vauguard, you get a more "crunchy" and "sharp" sound. I use both, and am really happy owning both.

oh... I didn't take it at all in the manner of self-promotion. In the context that I wanted someone to show me what the Albino could do, that was perfect. :D Thanks alot!
