Sorry if it has been answered before, please let me know
1. what kind of copy protection does it use?
2. any downloadable version? Being a platinum member the the upgrade price from AT1 is very sweet, but if customs add tax to the cd I end up paying more than buying the product new!

1: Dongle + C/R (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
2: There's a downloadable version you can take instead of the boxed, but you need a dongle anyway. I've had things sent from ESoundz (to Poland and Germany) and I've never had to pay any customs so no worries.

Thanks.
Damn! Is it one more usb dongle then? Is it compatible with any other usb dongles?
Re. customs, the topic seems to come up every now and then. I have also bought from esoundz without problems, but once I bought from Steinberg Canada and another from East-West, and I ended up paying more taxes than the product itself, let alone the hours you have to spend at the customs

There's a list of products that use the iKey on IKMultimedia's web site. If you have any of the products listed there, you can consolidate your licenses onto one key.
Also, we prefer that people don't talk details about customs here.
