frank001, I can confirm this iLok issue: while the C/R version takes up 1,5% on my X2 4400, the iLok version uses 15%!!! I've e-mailed Tony Agnello about this twice, a 3rd e-mail will be sent to him today. Please, if you haven't done so already, e-mail him, it's been already more than 2 months that this issue exists, it's really annoying.

That's exactly what I did..... and I am happykritikon wrote:It still saddens me I can't use the Princeton plugins. I steer clear of anything PACE so aciduously that I will go to the extent of buying a UAD card solely for a plate reverb (admittedly there are plenty of other top quality plugins to make the purchase worthwhile, so it's a gain for me)

I emailed him yesterday about the problem and to go back to C/R. It sucks, but I'll have to just to get this album done. I just hope my PC doesn't crash like it did and have to ask for another "response". Thanks for confirming this issue. I had hoped I wasn't the only one.

It's really hard to believe developers can't see the light about PACE. It gets so many complaints and yet they stick with it like they really think it can't be cracked. I can't figure that situation out, really.

BTW, the PACE c/r, which I have on my Princeton Stereo Room, while not dangerous to the systme like the diabolical kernal driver, is still very hypersensitive. It seems to react to things like h/d swaps by generating new challenges more than any other c/r scheme I have.

Personally I have no problem with Princeton or Tony Agnello. In fact I have always had good, personal customer service from them.
I also think the reverbs are the best out there. I tried IK multimedias CSR and liked it a lot but still preferred Princetons.

I've also had great support from Tony. I agree that C/R can be a hassle and I do hope they switch to something else, or improve the iLok version, but StereoRoom makes things sound so good it's worth it. A more stable computer is what I need.grandaddy wrote:Personally I have no problem with Princeton or Tony Agnello. In fact I have always had good, personal customer service from them.
