Not sure if there's anything I can do to make it sound much worse. :hihi:

I will release a serious VSTi next, though...

The thread has passed on. It is no more.

No, we're just waiting for the beta of SoulTrane.

You know what its like - you wait all day for a beta and then two come along at once (we hope).

Guido: I use PowerArchiver 6.1 to handle ZIP files, and for some reason your ZIP archives always crash PowerArchiver. It's not a big problem, but I don't experience the same with archives from anywhere else. Strange.

I've been waiting alot of time, and this IS worth waiting for! I bet Guido wouldn't let us down. Just relax while he's fixing up the last beta issues.

This really is a cool instrument. Kudos to the Fuzz...

I've been having an interesting time trying to wrap my head (and fingers) around playing it correctly. I'm currently running Vibrato to the Mod Wheel and Expression to Aftertouch but still having problems with 'expressive' volume control, especially when trying to 'play'
the other parameters at the same time.

Does anyone have a setup that works better?
And
Is there a breath controller I can use with my EMU XBoard (or separate MIDI channel)
that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks!

Post

I think the only option for breath control is the yamaha one, and then you also need to get a midi solutions box to make it midi, since it only comes with a plug for the yamaha ex5 or vl70m.

i dont think the midi solutions box costs very much tho.

Thanks for the tip, I did find a combination that wasn't too expensive:
http://www.8thstreet.com/product.asp?Pr ... ontrollers (http://www.8thstreet.com/product.asp?ProductCode=20180&Category=MIDI_Controllers)

Though using it with only the single (breath pressure, no lip...) parameter could
be interesting.

So what is required to use a breathcontrol? Can one connect one directly to the PC or?

Don't loose your breath Jobro but I think you should answer a serious question I have asked you in another thread with regards to what is apparently a time trial limitation on a dll you share on Sourceforge.

I think should answer this and do something about it before doing anything else on here IMO.

Sorry to be a prick.

No gate-crashers or bullies please.
