It screws eXT here, after a strong fart/crack as it loads. Then neither plays nor lets anything else to play until I close it. When I close it eXT starts to behave as usual. I'm about to deinstall and forget about it.
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

it eats up 3GHZ Pentium 4, but...if you disable the instrument, then turn effect off, then on again, it starts to behave again and cpu usage is not too bad. Might have some denormalization issues? But the sound is so sweet...

same cpu here....but it's working fine for me. I played through all the included patches without any problems.Ja.x wrote:I have an Athlon 2400+. Anyway already deleted it.
some patches use up to 60% of cpu......I'm trying to find an init patch or a reset button somewhere(so i can asses cpu usage).....so annoying having to manually initialize all parameters .

starting from scratch.
cpu is reasonable when doing bread and butter synth sounds.
also the unison(+detune+spread) which u would expect it to drain cpu badly is VERY reasonable.....and actually its what impressed me most in my quick test.love the spread control in adition to the detune.

I did most of my presets with an XP2400+ without running into performance problems, you might try to check the options and reduce the amount of voices to 16...Ja.x wrote:I have an Athlon 2400+. Anyway already deleted it.

I mentioned earlier that the demo only works in Cubase on channel 1 and 5 it seems, but there's no sound on any other channel. I also get the "clicks and farts" sometimes when loading into the vst rack then Cubase freezes until I unload, it's also crashed Cubase. As for cpu I also have a 2.4 machine and found a few patches excessive with 30 voices but reduced to 10,as advised, the cpu consumption was nothing unusual for many recent vsts. I noticed the version for the demo was 0.9something or other so perhaps Terratec will sort these issues out (hopefully) for version 1 as I've been waiting a year for this and am impressed with the sound capabilities and would definately buy.(assuming there's no nasty copy protection)

I haven't seen the copy protection yet, since I had a time bombed but other than that fully featured version of the synth. I guess they have some kind of CD/serial protection installing a dummy file from CD...

Why do you want it to receive on other channels when there is no multimode ?Arcvidean wrote:I mentioned earlier that the demo only works in Cubase on channel 1 and 5 it seems, but there's no sound on any other channel.

DocT, I loved your patches for the uQ. Have you had a chance to use Komplexer?

I programmed some factory presets (signed "ST") and did some beta testing.sluggo wrote:DocT, I loved your patches for the uQ. Have you had a chance to use Komplexer?

DocT could you please clarify what you mean?
If I have one instance of Komplexer running in Cubase on midi ch 1 as the output and I want to open a second instance of Komplexer on midi ch 2,say, there is no sound, nor is there on any further channels except 5.This is not the way vsts usually work or am I missing something?(there is no manual)
