Yes, that's the one. I should at least give it a try, but I was looking for something that was better than Dominion and it doesn't appear that it would be. My quest is because Samplitude has the updated Dominion built in and is excellent. I sold Samplitude and it's the only thing I'm missing from it.
I may check out Compadre too. I don't think I want to spend the money on a DSP card, when the only plug I need is a Transient Designer. I'm trying to streamline my work and not my wallet! :hihi:

Well, Compadre is out. Apparently I tried it before(Just don't remember) because when I installed it, it says my 14 day demo is up. oh well.

Yeah, I don't think you need to shell out for a whole DAW/interface just for transient design! Why, you're practically beggin for a kvr member to scold you about your recording techniques! ;)

here's some basic advice about Braindoc's Transient Designer:

when you raise the gain of the attack and/or release you need to lower then master-gain accordingly to avoid clipping - I guess that was the distortion you've been experiencing... try different attack/gain levels and then play a bit with both (1+2) attack/release-envelopes - filter+mode are basically finetuning - hope that helps... :)

i prefer dominion over the waves/voxengo plugs. if you use samplitude/sequoia, it includes a transient designer plug written by the programmer who also developed dominion.

btw, squish is right - compadre has some transient shaping abilities. it's become one of my favorite comps for drums... :)
