I thought it worth copying over to here as I don't think export functions have been mentioned!Electrode@cm/fm wrote:Sorry to badger you, but I've got another little issue that I'd love to have implemented.
I have realised that CMusic, thanks to its slim interface and feature set, is an awesome tool for quickly getting music down without getting lost in a jungle of options, features and interface quirks. Kudos for that, but if I were to start an idea up in CMusic with the hope of transferring it out to my more powerful sequencer, I'd be out of luck. I currently don't see any options to be able to save MIDI files from sequences, or to mix audio from separate tracks into separate files, one for each track.
However, since these are relatively important features, I trust these are coming in due course.

Jo, the person who developed ComputerMuzys several years ago, has now created the new sequencer/host, LUNA. A lite version of LUNA is now being distributed in the Computer Music magazine. The lite version is called CMusic.GaryG wrote:is this about ComputerMuzys? I thought CMusic was some obscure, text based, synthesis system...
"I thought CMusic was some obscure, text based, synthesis system..." - That is so funny in a cute sort of way. Obscure? Brand New. Text based? Never was. Synthesis System? It's a host/sequencer for audio and midi. It's very cool.

GaryG, you have a terrific signature - who is William S.?

Yes, CMusic indeed is a lite version of LUNA
It's more powerful than LUNA Free but less than LUNA Unlimited.

Given the lead time on the DVD, CMusic is always going to trail LUNA to a degree. It would be nice to know which LUNA matches with the latest CMusic
