Is there an effect that I could use to easily skew the sound across the stereo field.
What I mean is I want it to take the lowest low and put it to a side (lets say right) and gradualy send the rest of the sound, all the way to the highest high, to the other side (the left).

The only thing I can think of is Spectron from Izotope which has spectral panning...

... unless you're using a synth with a modulation matrix which can do it for you
