Hi there,

For those who use LD1 and/or LD2, what do you think of them ?

Thanks for your opinions :)
No need to own hundreds of synths here, only two are enough d(*O*)b

Don't have LD2, but I'm very happy with the first version. That and Slayer and Monster Guitars and I'm a happy man.

I also have MG1 and MG2, they're great banks and I was actually wondering whether I should buy the LD's to have even more possibilities. As for slayer, I haven't really digged this plug so far. Thanks for your reply anyway !

MG is great and easy to use, however LD 1 and 2 gives you much more possibilities (more different playing styles, two independent recordings panned left and right, multiple recordings of the same keys for round robin to avoid the machine gun effect etc. pp.). I have MG, but I also bought LD1 and 2 - with this combination, and probably and AMP sim, you can't go wrong. By the way, BelaD will release a 'clean' version this year, so this should give the user even more possibiliteis.

Regarding Slayer: I also have it, but don't use it anymore. It sounds too artificial for most uses (it's based on PM, not on samples) IMHO. However, some people might like this sound - might be useful for weirdo industrial...

Yes, I've played with slayer a bit and don't really like it as a guitar I'd say.
I'll go for Bela D Media stuff then ;) Why do you use an amp sim with these banks ?
