PlexiHead over on Effects just got his (in Australia no less).

He calls it "breathtaking" in its tonal depth.

Oooo, boy, next Monday looks real far away right now. IK...I have a dongle all ready to go. Uhhh...demo?

PlexiHead also says it's really buggy, though, so fingers crossed here about it working in T2.

Per UPS tracking, mine will arrive on Monday. Does seem like forever and a day based upon hte early reviews coming in from putte and Plexihead.

I'm hoping (with apologies to our MAC friends) that the PC version plays nice right off the bat.

PlexiHead also says it's really buggy

It seems to be buggy on Mac. I have feedback saying it is more stable under Windows.

It had (notice I said had not has because it has already been fixed) SOME bugs on the Mac. I wouldn't call that "buggy" though... buggy to me is something very unstable whereas these were more some graphic glitches and things... anyway fixed already in 2.0.1 or whatever it is called and THAT is what is in the download and already available to get. Windows didn't have this problem even at all. Overall, both are quite solid!

I am in the IK Italy office now for a few days. I saw first-hand that all of the upgrades are being put into the user areas of AT1 users. So, have fun! There's still thousands so it could take a day or two before you have it in your area. Or maybe even right now! Go look.

yep! I have it available for download already! I won't be able to play with it until tonight when I get off work... damn it! I think I'm gonna suddenly start "feeling sick" and tell my boss I need to go home...

I'm impressed at how quickly AT2 came out--it seems like just yesterday it was announced.

I, too, am looking forward to taking it for a spin after I get home from work. I was late for court this morning because I took the time to install/authorize it.

I have ordeed the boxed version with CSR. Am I right in assuming that I cannot use the download version?

I just installed amplitube 2 so am looking forward to start playing with it.

It has to be said though that the authorization process is no less painful than needles in your eye. What is the point of all the friggin codes (serial, auth, activation, device)? that really should be streamlined.

anyway, i have csr in a box here waiting to be installed too, and not looking forward to that process either.

Anyway, still cant wait to play.

If you qualify for the free upgrade AND you ordered the boxed version you have 2 licenses my friend! Go buy a dongle and sell your boxed version!

Please can someone tell me, does the AT2 v2.0.1 download work in demo mode for anytime at all. I am waiting for the iKey so I can't register it, but I was thinking of downloading and running in demo mode for a few days if that is even possible. Just to tease myself.
