No...Music Studio. Not to be confused with Music Maker. Music Studio has a separate product that ships with it called Midi Studio (an earlier version of Logic).G-Ro124 wrote:You sure?? Is that Music Maker 10??j_T wrote:MAGIX Music Studio (Midi Studio).![]()

Magix music studio 2004, and the manual it say's music studio 7. Its cut down version of Samplitude and it includes a seperate midi sequencer program whitch includes data input by manuscript. Iv also noticed on the Magix site another primarily manuscript based program. Not a great sequencer and the GUI is terrible, but entering manuscript notes is not too bad. It is a rip-off when they are seperate.

Thanks for the info on Magix, haven't actually looked at it in years. Can't seem to find a demo link on the site, mind you.

Sorry, as far as I know there is no demo available.
As christianmusicmaker says it's an earlier version of Emagic Logic. TBH I didn't care for Midi Studio that much,AudioStudio is the part of Music Studio that I'm interested in (pretty close to Samplitude but without Midi and VSTi's). The GUI of Midi Studio is ... err ... slightly old fashioned but it features very good Midi editing and amongst that a staff view.
Perhaps you can find a cheap earlier version of MusicStudio. Magix (or Emagic or Apple or whoever
) didn't do very much development for MidiStudio lately. So basically the staff view should be present in those early versions, too. They might, however, lack a few native synths as well as the capability of hosting VSTs/VSTi's and ReWire.
Regards,
Tommy

Someone should make a VST plugin scoring app - then any host can have one if people want.
