A search for 'whistle test' brings up a little collection of classic 78-80 punk and stuff, including the Damned, X-Ray Spex, the wonderfull Rezillos, and some John-Foxx era UltraVox.

I know this isn't a YouTube vid (God knows I love YouTube !), but thought it was pertinent.

It's a video of Peter Gabriel collecting samples for use in his Fairlight (one assumes whilst creating PG4) and some great footage of him inthe studio with the great white Aussie beast too :)

At 21MB, it's a big boy, but worth the wait. My advice is to right click and save to your HD :)
