Plugin for singin in midinotes?

Does anyone have a clue what free plugin (vst?) or standalone that can analyze audio (my voice) and output midi in real time, so that I can actually record midi and velocity using my voice and mic?

Would be nice if it could respond to the volume of the audio source. Any free plugs that can actually do this?

My reason for asking, is I'm thinking maybe some sampled instruments would benefit from being played by my voice, rather than from my midi keyboard. String lines, winds, brass etc.. Sometimes when playing with the midi kb, it sounds "keyboardish". Coloured by the way I'm a keyboardplayer playing with keys.

there's a f/w called 'supereel' i'e heard works really well but it's not vst - recommended tho!
