I was having a free VST search a little while back and was wondering why no one has done a free ringmod plug-in.

Did I miss something, or are they really difficult to program ? or does nobody like ring mods?

I do! but the one in cubase is a bit boring.

I mostly use one I made in Synthedit for that. Alternately I'll use GlitchTek's RingMod.

The ringmod that comes in the free Pluggo Jr pack lets you modulate the right input with the left input, but you'd have to run two instances for stereo signals.

Also, konstrux operator set to multiply will do it (never set it to divide!) - but has no controls so I like the ringlr better.

There's one over at Big-Tick's website to...although, I think it's in a beta stage (for years now)
