I grabbed a riff of a song I have been working on and played some wanker lead over the top. I sent the mp3 to Andrew Simon who kindly offered to host it. I think I got Amplitude 2 to sit fairly ok in the mix. I'm happy anyway.A3ntar wrote:Btw, the samples did not impress me either. I have the feeling that AT2 is one of these apps that feels and plays great, but just sits badly in a mix.

Is that why your band quotes Morbid Angel and Crowbar as their influences? From the samples it sounds quite low-tuned from where I am sitting.Killvehicle wrote:2 things drop A flat!!! COme on man thats just ridiculous. THere is nop reason a guitar should be that low, even a 7 string,, Takes all the punch and heaviness out.
For the record. I am usually in C-standard now because of the band. But that's just acouple of steps from Ab dropped.

wow! sounds good to me! the basic character/grain of the gain pleases my ears... especially the riff that comes at 0:23. the other _riff only_ demos were too harsh and need EQ. but this is nice. thanks for sharing!AndrewSimon wrote:OK KIDS! here we go:

can anyone post some mp3 demos that are not metal/higain?
I will like to hear some clean chords through an AC30 or Twin. Something that really shows off a clean vintage "tube" sound.
anyone? thanks.
edit: or even some SVR / Hendrix stuff
