Starting in May 2006, ShareIt will no longer work as a service provider for me. Instead they will act as a reseller. This is a new policy of ShareIt, which is necessary due to European laws, in order to prevent vat frauds from rogue software developers. No prob for me, they have already had my international vat id for ages and I have always passed any vats through to the Finanzamt
What changes for you? Not much. You'll just see their logo and stuff all around during the ordering process. It's gonna be more like buying stuff from than rather than from me. At least I hope that this is all that's different. We'll see in a couple of weeks.
