Steinberg Cubase SX2 USB Dongle - works with CSR and AT2 ?

Hi Guys,


I have Cubase SX 2.2 with its Syncrosoft USB Key.
I tried installing CSR but couldn't get it working.
Is CSR only OK with the dongle for Cubase SX3?
I think I also qualify for the free downloadable upgrade for AT2 - Will it work with my key or do i need to buy anew one ?

Didn try it with mine (sx3) but it should work without any problem ?!!

Have you updated your Syncrosoft license manager program to the latest version? AT2 automatically installed the newest license manager. I don't know whether CSR does that.

I was able to use an Arturia Brass dongle just fine for AT2, had no trouble once I figured out which number to feed it.

(... Yes, I'm a human-sized skunk with a Brass dongle. So? *tailtwitch*)

I have SX3, Miroslav philharmonik and CSR on the Steinberg dongle, no problems at all. The versions of the programs licensed to the key has nothing to do with each other.

Have you transfered the license over to the steinberg key?

ps. CSR installs an older version of syncrosoft, so be sure to intall the latest afterwards. ds.

CSR does have the Syncrosoft license manager as I recall.

I will try again CSR on the Steinberg Key. It prompted me for the KEy but I wasn't able to "insert" the license on the Key...

OK Guys, I didn't realize that CSR doesn't Install the license on the Key, You have to Download the License. It's OK now. thanks for your help!
