AT2 iKey shipping question, thought, thing

I filled out the form to request the iKey from IK and the reference number I got was 58.
So do you think 57 is the number of people who have previously filled out the form, and if so, doesn't that mean shipping of the ikeys could potentially be much faster???
I mean, they say 8-10 weeks right? Surely if only 100 people want iKey's then they could speed it up a bit?
I dunno, I know nothing of their situation, seems plausible though.

I sort of thought the same. I think many people are going to just download it, so there are less people wanting the dongle. This might speed up the process... (But then again, maybe not

It's at IKs Access User Area. Well, where you usually download updates etc.

Talk to IK, send them your purchase reciept, surely they will manage to reason with you. You didn't get round to it because you were busy, but you bought it before April 1st.

And btw, I think its really shit that a company has a cutoff point like that. Sure, A grace period for new buyers, thats perfectly reasonable. You buy within a certain amount of time of software being released, you get the next upgrade free because you already invested.
But to have a limit on that grace period??? That's pretty wrong imo.

Is it my imagination or does IK really suck as a business? Don't own anything from them but I sure see a lot of threads like this one. So you can download the product right away but wait 8-10 for a key to use the software? Is that correct?

The idea is that everyone was going to have to wait our turns in line, but Squids kept at IK to allow a downloadable version for those who have a key already, and they relented. If enough of us decide to forego getting an extra dongle, it'll speed things up for the rest of y'all too. Two birds, one stone. For those who don't already have a key and don't want to buy one, the situation's no worse than it was before, and ought to be a little better because fewer keys will have to be shipped.
The pyramiding delays, that was nightmarish, yes. But the downloadable version if you have (or choose to buy) your own key... that seems like a winning decision to me.

you can go to a store near you and buy one for about €17 (that's what I paid) if you don't wanna wait.... and as it's been stated many people already have a syncrosoft key...Teksonik wrote:Is it my imagination or does IK really suck as a business? so what's stupid about letting people download the software right away?
