I've just recieved an email from Cakewalk informing me that the upgrade from Sonar 4 to Sonar 5 Studio has been discounted. Unfortunately this does not include the Producer edition. Being a Sonar Pro 4 customer I'm only interested in upgrading to Pro 5 so I've sent Cakewalk an email requesting a Pro 5 upgrade discount.

I sure wish they would discount the purchase of Rapture for Sonar5 customers! I got Project5V2 for a paltry $99 bucks (and did it only to get Dimension) for being a Sonar5 customer. Then I got Dimension Pro for the another $99, as a Project5V2 owner. Seems like they would do something on the price of Rapture for all of us "loyalists" doesn't it?

I received the same email and had the same reaction. Let me know if they agree to this discount for the upgrade from 4PE to 5PE. I'll let you know if I hear anything. I'm thinking along the same lines. I'd really like the vocal processor capability but I'm not bothered about a lot else now I've got ACID 6.
