I've just got to say a word of thanks to Wlodzimierz for Extreme Sampler Convertor.

It works really well here, with a range of translations.

And just look at how much he has put in to the latest point release, v3.0.3.

It's a great app.

I just wish it was possible to tweak keymapping ranges as well.

I have some AKAI volumes where I'd like to extend the lowest keyrange a bit further before exporting to another format.

Maybe the easiest suggestion for that is to export to sfz format, tweak the .sfz file as you need, then convert that to the desired final format.

Yes, it's a workaround, not a solution, but it would allow you to do as you wished.

(edit - in fact, it shouldn't be too hard to write a script that searches through *.sfz files and just extends the upper and lower keyranges automatically.)

Definitely!

He takes the time to put in even the most minute and obscure fixes that probably only affect a small group of users.

Right now its working great for me as well.
