Hello All

Well it took some time! (a year) but here it is www.frettedsynth.com look in the audio triggered synth section for PhazOsc, Phase distortion synth :D
Many thanks to Grymmjack for the GUI (with without it would not have been released) Also to asseca for the site hosting, up-keep and manual work (now in .chm and .pdf versions) :) also Jeff McClintock for SE, David Haupt, Marc Lindahl and J&H for custom SE modules used in the plugin.
Hope you enjoy the plug, and by all means check this one out as a VSTi the J&H module really does a great job with jeff's PD osc :) If you need as a VSTi (synth) compiled plugin for your host ? Let me know I could make one up!

Let me know what you think? I sure had fun with it :D

Wehay!

Thanks for releasing, having fun, lots of fun!

I like the few presets that are actually pitched an octave up, tickles my fancy! Think I will have to make some more presets myself.

Tracking is pretty good as long as you stay above 4/5th frets and mute properly. Good stuff!

Thanks for another great guitar synth in the lineup, FrettedSynth! That GUI does look sweet Grymmjack!!

This is incredible. Try it with the low pass set to a dullish sound and then use an eBow and a slide. Wow. This will make some nice psychedelic passages for sure.

Once again, thank you very much! And kudos for the GUI. Very classy.

Ooh good idea, i'll have to dig my ebow out.

Love the sound of this one ...

PS, you can also use this synth with a normal MIDI controller keyboard ... :D

Post

asseca; indeed, i actually designed my presets that way first. then did the guitar tests.

It's very versatile and can achieve a pretty decent range of sounds. I love the almost perfect way Joe implemented the finger bending.. I've never been able to achieve this kind of realism with a regular pitch bend on a keyboard controller.

So everyone should make some presets :) I know they would help the success of the synth! :)

E-bow :o Damn now I have to get me one so I can try too!

Got a chance to meet Grymmjack yesterday! to go over FreeAmp UI idea's, great guy and very talented.
(sorry if I was a bit mashed by the time you got there I was on #3)
Anyhow one thing he mentioned that I have already tested! is to capo off at the 5th fret, or up to allow the use of open string better? give it a try?

Hope you all enjoy the plug, And one thing I forgot to mention? Made in the Motor City :D
