Really? Thomas Serafini, the programmer dude in question, also worked on Scarbee's VKFX plugin.

???

anything with more than two knobs could benefit from a couple of good presets. Even my old boss se 50 had scads of presets; so.... what's the joke again? :P

if you come up with anything particulary sweet for synth-lead stuff, krim, i would be game for trying them out. :)

Presets just won't do anything good because it's all up to what source you are using. Even if it's an electric guitar, different guitars sound very different, and the DI-box you're using (or not using) will also make a huge difference. Presets = worthless. You can just as well have a "randomizer" function. Or possibly paint a pair of googles black and just mess with the controls blindly.

Ok, ok, but why the hell is there no way to get stereo output?

...would be great to get a quick taste of the range of sounds the effect is capable of though. I agree with Z3R0T0N1N.

Use XT as insert. Split in-signal. Apply two instances of GSuite plugs. Tweak one to your liking. Save as preset :P and load in to the other instance. Viola. Instant stereo.

uhm - perhaps because the Guitar-Suite is simulating mono-devices?

Yeah that's the guy. Could be he's a "hitman" programmer for hire when that extra expertise is needed. I wouldn't be surprised if some company already grabbed his "analog suite" and releases it with a bunch of fancy GUIs for 500 bucks.

You can actually take advantage of that. Stick a phaser/univibe in masterbus. Only left side gets processed creating a weird moving (but cool) stereo spread. Great for intros, bridges and such lot.

This same trick works with DI bass as well, where only one side gets processed by the rednef/JCM, and the other is straight DI. Massive stereo bass, that can be a tad difficult to mix/blend in, but if there's success, it's a very powerful sound.

(of course these plugs could be something else entirely, but gsuite limitation, and general good sound makes this especially easy)
