Had a bit of trouble with the qouting there,asI'm new to this!
To further clarify I'm not talking about Komplexer not working in a multitimbral way, I'm talking about not being able to open more than two instances of Komplexer(on ch 1 and 5 in Cubase)and there being no sound on any other channel on any other outputs in Cubase.

If you open additional instances of Komplexer, you have to connect your midi track with that instance by choosing the output in Cubase. Your 2nd open instance would be a differnt instrument than your first, therefore there's no problem to send on channel 1 to both instances, because midi track 1 send to Vst 1 on midi channel 1 and midi track 2 must be configured to send to Vst2 on midi channel 1.
I hope that this is understandable, sometimes I have difficulties to explain in english

Thanks, I've been using Cubase and Vsts for several years and I've always put a new instance on a new channel, but I just tried Komplexer out as you suggested and it works fine. I don't understand why it's the only Vst I've encountered that won't work the way I've always done it.

Since most VSTis receive their input on all channels, in ancient midi days we called that omni-mode, while Komplexer reacts slightly different due to the performance mode on channel 5...Arcvidean wrote:Thanks, I've been using Cubase and Vsts for several years and I've always put a new instance on a new channel, but I just tried Komplexer out as you suggested and it works fine. it seems you can't buy it anywhere. online shops like Thomann here in germany doesn't seem to have it yet. it's not even listed there. although Terratec announced last week it is available NOW worldwide. indeed very strange!mike goodwin wrote:can you buy this thing online yet? I don't get this.
A demo-version was uploaded 2 times here at "yousendit".
Why is there no "official" download version available on the Terratec site??
Could someone explain that?
Would someone be so kind to reupload the demo somewhere?
Rapidshare, you send it or elsewhere.
I couldn't download it as the file has expired.
Thx!
