Got my AT2 yesterday and I LOVE IT

I know i was jones'n for some examples as I waited for mine to arrive so I put together a couple of exampes. Actually it was just a quick and dirty 3 chord piece I through together and reamped with various presets so you could hear different presets.

A couple of minor tweaks but essentialy this is out-of-the-box. I'm not into metal so much sothese are pretty classic rock kinds of sounds.

Sorry bout the guitar playing but I hurt my hand (not badly) in a recent car accident and the fingers weren;t moving so good yet(yeah right ..like they ever could

)

Some cool stuff! Thanks for posting them. I think AT2 is great for getting fat tones for rock. You're samples show it.

I think it is great that you guys are posting your own riffs. I think we should do an AT2 riff contest. What do you think? Maybe the winners get a free Ampeg SVX or something?

Well, I never claimed to be a great guitar player (as if the examples above weren't proof enough

) but I'd be willing to give it a go. Just need a couple more days for my hand to heal and to learn AT2 a little better.

Could be a lot of fun as well as educational as to what sounds people are cranking out of AT2

Something where you guys were the judges too. Could be fun. Kind of like the old song contests on KVR but this would be a riff contest with AT2. Just a thought. We need to have more fun around here anyway. None of this mopey stuff.

I just recorded a bluestune with AT. Guitar isn't really my maininstrument but sometimes I give it a shot...

I don't have any samples to put up yet but I finally got around to making a little music today and AT2 simply rocks. Tune should be done in, oh, about a year at the rate I'm going

but I'll put it up when it's done.

At this point, it all IK/SR products involved except the sequencer and my trusty, dusty Tele...(Ed Greene plays the drums...in case you haven't listened to them, esoundz has some Mini Profiles on Ed Greene and Bun E. Carlos.)
