Is this just a download purchase?
You're not sent anything through the post are you?

There's two options to buy - from US and EU.
The USA option works out £25 cheaper.
I'm in the UK so what happens if I choose the cheaper USA buy option?
Can I do this or will the AA website not allow me to do that?
Will I have the taxman after me?
Will I be banned from KVR for suggesting such criminal deception and tax evasion?

*edit*
..oh and how come not all developers have a dual pricing policy like this?

You better put these pre-sales questions over to the AA forum.

Thinking about buying too, post back your findings here please!

The last time I ordered something from the US, I had to pay VAT before the delivery man would hand the package to me. 40 euros or so, because the vendor had put the original price on the package, instead of the discounted price that I had paid. So.... Good question. Only get downloads :D

This reverb is definitely worth the tax

Besides that, I don't think Share-It can be fooled that easily.

That £25 is probably going to be the VAT!!!

I realise that is exactly what it is.

but if you click the USA purchase link, it still gives you the (lower) price in Sterling.

The online form (when you click the US link) also has options you to put in UK address and card information..etc

so it seems there's nothing to stop me buying through the US link...
maybe there isn't, but is it just down to the 'honesty' of purchasers to select the link that is correct for their nationality?

The ArtsAcoustic Reverb is a downloadable product. We are not delivering the package via mail nor is it a boxed product yet.

Unfortunatly we are not allowed to let our customers choose which versions they would like to buy. Even if the non-EU version seems to be cheaper. In respect to national, EU-wide and international tax rules we can't do anything about this.

In case you are producing music as a business you can keep in mind the following fact:
EU customer: 189,00 € (that includes 16% VAT)
non-Eu customer: 189,00 $ (without VAT)

So if you are living inside one of the following countries you must order the EU version: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
