Ok, it's official: I don't care about reverbs. Apart from the last one which has some annoying rumble, the differences are way too small for me make a fuss about. I'd rather buy a new synth or effect than spend money on such tiny differences.

5 posts ... hmmm ... none of them voting exept one, and that vote goes to aar, too ... but people seem to see that a pure forced aar-hate-thread is simply unconstructive ...
ok, here, just for you:
i hate the artsacoustic reverb. like you say it is crap.
hope you sleep better now ...
oops, i forgot:
"I knew that one was AAR!".
normally i'm simply not like that, but this time, sorry .. i just couldn't resist, i just refer to your posts in the other reverb thread ...
my apollogize ...
ohh, and of course i won't reply nor read anymore, so save it ...

What?!?!?
I just spent a fair bit of time downloading these (over s-l-o-w dialup mind you) just to have a go at trying to pick the difference and it turns out the whole purpose is just to put down a particular reverb?? How is that fair?? Any effect or instrument can be made to sound bad in compariosn to others if you choose to do so.
Anyway, for what its worth, here are the actual notes I wrote when I compared each of the reverbs on offer (I'd definitely not read the list of verb's when I wrote these):
1 - Not bad
2 - A little flat
3 - Not as lively as the others
4 - Much more bottom end; clean tail
5 - Long tail; bit of modulation present
6 - Bit metallic, but very clean tail
7 - Full sound, clean tail
Though my list reads more like wine-tasting notes, for what its worth, ny favourite was number 4 (which I now know to be an M3000 - whatever that is
)
Anyway, thanx for spoiling my bit of fun with a biased 'test'.....
