Hello,
This I suppose would maybe rate as a trivial post. A friend of mine was in Germany during the weekend and picked up a copy of Keys which contains Samplitude 8 SE Free. I installed it (but haven't authorised it yet) and to my disapointment there was no language option during the install procedure. Everything is in German and I don't understand a thing. I know that I am supposed to register it but I have no clue what the boxes are saying!
Just thought I'd share that with you all.

If only there were enough hours in a day. I am trying to learn French, so taking on German too isn't an option. Oh well, I just won't bother with the program. I hope it will be available in the British magazines.keyman_sam wrote:Start learning german.

Hi, I had a memory (used demo briefly a while back) that once you get into the program (that is; opening it after the install!) it's not too bad re: language. Most of it is in English but sometimes you'll get need a translator..but not too hard. Just translate in google for the install and register process, it'll be fun!!

Samplitude doesn't come with a language-switch option. We always distribute seperate language versions and we'll stick with that for different reasons. The German version you find in the Keys mag is a unique promo thing. If you wish, you can order a UK/US version of Sam SE from our website for 49EUR, which is still dead cheap...

Indeed. Great Host, and this SE Version is in itself extremly good.

the only thing which is annoying is challenge/response activiation. This is crazy for a product like this (and in general I never buy products which force me into it). In case that someone wants to use SAM illegally he would pick the pro version and not the SE version.
