If you have Pentagon 1 you can use it as an effect to make a robotic type of voice effect (can't remember what they call it now).
The AKAI DC Vocoder is one of the best software vocoders I heard. I'd recommend this one.
Failing this theres the MDA Vocoder (which I believe the FL vocoder is based on...anyone?) which is free I think. I've not tried the MDA one but the FL one seems to be okay.
Text-To-Speech Synthesizer or Vocoder?

VIRTUAL MALE VOCALIST, powered by Yamaha VOCALOID® Singing Synthesis Technology.
VOCALOID is an entirely NEW kind of instrument, that uses the natural tone and articulation of a real human voice as its source - allowing the user to synthesize incredible vocals, the like of which have never been experienced before. It can also even sound remarkably like a real singer if required, with an unprecedented degree of realism for a synthesizer.
This is the best and only $199 http://www.zero-g.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=799
