I believe it is past the free upgrade date. It was a promotional for BEFORE AT2 was released. Now that it is released I don't think applies anymore. However, I would e-mail IK and ask.

again, this is a question for IK Multimedia. To my knowledge the upgrade is over. Send your queries to them. No one here will be able to answer you except maybe Squids, and since you didn't purchase the original from him, you wouldn't get the upgrade from.

that's about as good as hearing from IK, if you bought it at audiomidi.com that is...because I know first hand that they live up to their word and take care of their customers....if you bought it somewhere else that's a different story, if you bought it in a store there might be a coupon you were suppose to get I would call the place you bought it...good luck...munkee wrote:I notice at the audiomidi.com site they say buy Amplitube 1 and get a free upgrade from IK media, I assume other stores offer the same.
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

well...I registered AT1 on April 3rd (I didn't notice the 1st april time limit at the beginning) ...
then I emailed IK Support about this, they replied after 3-4 days with a Serial Number to register-download-authroize AT2...
try emailing them.

Thanks for the advice. I have sent them an email, so I hope to hear on Monday. I'm just assuming audiomidi doesn't have exlusive rights to the offer. It seems most software companies have a grace period.
Autodafe, so the upgrade was downloadable?

Yes, the Upgrade IS downloadable, (after registering you will find it in your User Page) but you need a Syncrosoft key to authorize it (i used my Cubase2 dongle)
