I have never managed to get any VST step sequencer to work in Live properly. The problem is that Live appears to regard most midi FX plugins as an audio out module and you can't access any of the processed midi.

There are some exceptions to this. The one third party VST midi FX I can use sucessfully is Chordspace... but its not a sequencer.

What you can do is:
1) Set up one MIDI track with a synth/etc
2) Set up a totally seperate MIDI track with a different synth/etc... and in the routing section of the mixer select MIDI FROM... and choose the previous MIDI track (1) as an input.

I don't use the specific VSTs you list ttoz, so I can't confirm specifically about them. But if you have the demo try out this method and let us know if it works!

afraid i haven't tried out any step sequencers in live ...
