Found an old thread on here where some dude was promising a few people a decent penny whistle sample - nothing since, and the guy aint answering his pm's (probably left KvR

) anyway, I need a decent sample, anyone got one, or know where to get?

here you go ... just whistle
they're a bit dodgy, but you may be able to use 'em ... it's not easy holding a note on those things when you've been up all night getting caned

lol at the drifting near the end of each note - definitely a big night eh? Anyway, I'll employ Gsnap to sort that out. Thanks again.

thanks for the penny whistle samples.

i've done some pitch tuning and made them a gigastudio instrument.
if someone need this i'll share.of course,with permission from thecontrolcentre.
it's 1.2mb gig file by the way.

..my penny whistle is F tuned,
also have a big bamboo flute,
which has a much nicer sound.

it's still my favorite piano sample ... i recorded it in my mate marnie's kitchen with my tascam 4 track ... it turned out to be a semi-tone out of tune .. retuned it in an A3000 sampler
