For media player press the alien button at the bottom middle. Should work now. Sorry bout the misunderstanding I was focusing on the winamp button, didn't think you might be trying the other

Sorry for the delay getting back - been a bit busy.
The Winamp button still gives that same message and the WMP button gives "Could not locate remote server" when using Opera.
I've cleared the cache and also cookies, just to be sure but no joy.
However, it all works fine in both Maxthon and Avante browsers.
Also, I can't access The Auditorium through Opera at the moment, although I can through the other 2 browsers.
This is a bit of a pisser cos I like using Opera.
I'm curious to know what browser anybody else who's having problems is using?
If Opera, did you grab the recent upgrade? (8.54)

Well, I just rolled back to v8.5 and the WMP link works for me now, but other than that no difference.
I thought it might've been connected to the latest upgrade but apparently not.
Could it be an incompatability problem? Something that's changed over the past couple of days?
I'm really curious to know if other people who are having probs are using Opera?

The Now Playing screen is better now - looks as it should.

I just discovered that if I right click on the winamp picture and 'save as', I can open the listen file in winamp no probs. Bit long-winded, but it works that way.

The broadcast is very choppy at the moment tough - on and off constantly. Some good music playing right now, but with the constant buffering, it's not enjoyable to listen to.

I have put a workaround on the site, see if you can spot it?

I assume jeffn that you are using Opera. To be honest I don't think the lack of signs was the problem this time. if there was any sense of cross compatibility I don't think this would happen.
Maybe there are simpler solutions that I am not aware of , I'll keep you posted.

There are now three different buttons required to access the same stream.

Must say tho I do like Opera. I've only been using it since you posted the links. I like the way it forces everything to stay in one window.

The radio stream is on port 6000 which firefox does not like.

This is quite messy, but a learning experience nontheless.

ps I'm just going to assume the choppiness, is down to short term heavy congestion.
It's been fine here for most of the evening that I've been listening ,and my stream is from across the pond so I'm as prone to congestion as any.

I put a link that should work in opera. Firefox won't except it. But opera should.

It is working here now (at home). I use IE.

I will check it out at work tomorrow.

I still think it should be more obvious how to immediately start listening, even if different links are provided depending uon the player used.

Oops, it stopped again after a few minutes.

Yes, that link works fine in Opera. I'd never have thought to click that to listen!

Maybe you could incorporate that bit of code (whatever you did) into the winamp window?

Before I move the button code I want to investgate whether I can avoid needing three buttons. What I might try and do is- see if I can move the stream to a firefox friendly one. Then both opera and firefox could once again use the same one. It means changing a url again. As if this hasn't happened enough times already. But it might be better in the long run.

Had the pleasure of hearing Desperate Measures part 2 "Mindshareware" by You(tm) today which was EXCELLENT!!
An hour has never passed so quickly!
Still can't believe it was an hout

So smoothly put together - stacks of different sounds in there and they alljust sot of creep up on ya.
